Throw Away Those Beer Mats

This week we invested in a white board, it may seem a bit odd to start this week’s news with such a declaration, but it actually marks an impressive step forward for the station, in that we accept that we can no longer rely upon scraps of paper, beer mats and our wits to ensure the smooth running of things here at FCUM Radio.

This week is the third week of our new schedule and things are beginning to settle in now. The shows are bedding in nicely into their new slots, the commentary team are getting back into the swing of things and we are still trying out new things. Last week saw the start of the FC Live Replay service and we are still on the look out for new volunteers and fresh ideas.

Highlights of this week include:

* FC Board Member Alison Watt appearing on FC’s Bare Necessities (Saturdays at 1pm, repeated Sundays at 9pm)
* Bethany & Robanne of the FC Uth take control of the airwaves in this week’s Children Of The Revolution (Saturdays at 11am, repeated Sundays at 1pm)
* Full live coverage of FCs match against Matlock Town this Sunday from 2pm with FC Live
* Marv Willer introduces Paul William’s Bugsy Malone Soundtrack in this week’s Album Of The Week (Tuesdays at 8pm, repeated Saturdays at 5pm)
* This Club Is My Club has FC news and match reviews and details ahead of this week’s fixtures. (Daily at 12:30, 3:30 & 9pm)
* There’s a special treat for all fans of Nirvana on Tuesday at 7pm
* FC Live Replay on Wednesday features FC’s recent victory over Retford.
* All your regular favourite shows and presenters, of course.

The best way to find out what’s on week to week is by heading to the Whats On section of the website –

Ben, Marv and everyone here at FCUM Radio.
